BlackRock Reports Strong Growth in Q1 2025

BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, saw $84 billion in net inflows in Q1 2025, marking a 3% growth in assets under management. The firm's success was driven by record iShares ETF inflows, private market strength, and $3 billion in digital asset inflows. Despite digital assets accounting for less than 1% of revenue, BlackRock managed $50.3 billion in digital assets by the end of Q1. While the company experienced a drop in net inflows compared to the previous quarter, CEO Larry Fink highlighted solid fee growth. BlackRock remains focused on guiding clients through market changes and identifying growth opportunities. In contrast, other Bitcoin ETF issuers like Grayscale faced significant outflows. Despite challenges, BlackRock's performance indicates steady investor interest in crypto-backed ETFs.
